Juarez Orphans is an organization that supports children in need along the Mexican border. These children are either orphans, severely handicapped, or living in extreme poverty.  Casa Agape is one of the facilities that cares for them but they struggle day to day, with few resources for ever-growing numbers of children. It is located in Anapra, Juarez one of the poorest areas of the city.

The Juarez Orphans Organization began their mentoring program in 2014  where a group of women and myself travel to Juarez and mentor the girls at Casa Agape. Our main goal is to instill skills that the girls can use in their lives. We teach them about self worth, respect, working with others and to accomplish their goals despite their circumstances.

We have made a lot of progress since the program began. During our time at Casa Agape we have seen many of the same girls grow up and continue their studies which is one of our major goals for them. In 2015 I hosted a photography exhibition where these photos were featured. All the donations went towards Casa Agape where the money was used for a new air conditioner.

Olga is the director of the orphanage and she was an orphan growing up. This is the main reason why she started this. Many of the children that grew up in this orphanage are now older and are professionals.
